What attaining this level means:
 

  • Shows others you can communicate in English in practical, everyday situations

  • Equivalent to B1 / Intermediate level according to the Common European Framework

Who should take it:

  • P.5 - F.2 students

  • OR if you've studied / practiced 400 - 500 hours of English

​

Scope of the exam:

  • Express your likes and dislikes, and discuss them with other

  • Understand spoken and written announcements and instructions

  • Write a personal letter or take notes from a meeting or discussion

​

The exam contains:

  • Reading and Writing (1 hr 30 mins | 50% of total score)

  • Listening (35 mins | 25% of total score)

  • Speaking (10-12 mins per pair of candidates | 25% of total score)
